A leash would be good and seemingly easy to implement (works on friendly only unlike harpoon) but really I want more of a reason to tame pets. I did boars religiously at first but in the long run after many ice drakes raided them down to zero I found I was getting more meat from wild boars anyway. If we could breed 1 or 2 star animals in captivity up from no stars that would solve that. I skipped wolves as their attacks are plentiful in the mountains (though I did consider keeping wolf pens for base defense reason) and am now the proud owner of a Lox named Herbert at my plains outpost. Herbert can crush small plains trees at a gallop while I have the saddle on him but it is still more convenient to dismount and gather myself it seems. They might borrow a page from Ark here and make him a good bulk gather construction machine.

They made a butcher knife for harvesting your tames, maybe they could add a craftable leash to move them with.

yea well... 2bh theres no reason for it to do anything more than 1 damage fingers crossed for a QoL stealth update :) no one goes fighting bosses or trolls etc with a poon as their damage source :D

I wonder if turning PVP damage on doesn't bring their fear for fire back as well?

Actually, that would be a great function to have. Turning PvP on could make it so anything that is otherwise 'passive', could make it 'hostile' if that make sense. However, I wonder if then the player would need to hold the torch for herding, because turning on PvP would not affect fire-items placed on the ground/walls?
