[h1]Barley does not supply full yield. Am I doing something wrong???[/h1]
Hello, I am trying to plant/harvest barley and it does not give me the full yield. I was trying to stockpile on a server with my friends and ended up making a farm with 1400 barley plants (I'm a hermit leave me alone). I harvested it and it only gave me around 200 surplus (1650 in total) despite each plant supposedly dropping 2 barley per harvest, which should result in around 2800 barley. This has resulted in much time being wasted. Am I missing something? Is there a cap to the total barley that can exist in a server at a time?

Are you maybe planting them too close together so that some plants wither and die?

I haven't had an issue with my 100 plot farm. I get the right amount.. 1400 barley plants is literally insane.. you could make 87 each of fish wraps, blood pudding and lox pies.. one yield is 36 HOURS worth of food.. good lord.

Are you maybe planting them too close together so that some plants wither and die?yeah they are all very close together. I didn't know that It made them wither and die, thank you for that information.

I'm not saying that it SHOULDN'T work.. it still should.. Xea probably has the right answer. Just because they are "green" when you plant them does not mean they are going to grow. need a little space in between. Good luck.
