First of all, just to be sure, make a backup of your save files, don't rely on the steam cloud. When you have a backup of your worlds and characters, verify the files. Maybe it works, see if your save files are still okay, if not, well you got a backup.

I verfyed and said 3 was missing but nothing changed so i uninstalled and it and reinstalled and nothing.

There has not been any updates recent.

Your problem with launching is something else.
Have you restarted your computer? Allows Steam to update.
Are you on a laptop or desktop.
Updated drivers for GPU?
System specs please.

Then i have no clue, seems to work fine for me. You on a Mac?, that could be an issue from time to time.
