are the inclines you are referring to above the angles of 45 degrees. if so. you try run up a 45 degree angle.

Other than that ive had no issues running through meadows or black forrests.

use your hoe/shovel and flatten those hill then

Get a pick and cut small flats on the hill to get your stamina back while admiring the world

Stamina....have some and you can easily run up hills.

this game allows you to scale vertical more easily than most games i played lol, not sure what the issue is

This is objectively not true. Slight inclines cause major issues. I have to jump over and over and over and its super awkward.

I was looking around for any other threads like this, cause I totally agree.

Specifically, I wanted to point out the great irritation that comes from jumping when on any kind of slope, as it greatly and exaggeratedly displaces you horizontally. This makes jumping while on any sorts of slopes, such as going up hills or while on roof tiles, quite frustrating.

Sprinting gives super grip for running up steep slopes. Everything else can be solved with the pickaxe or hoe.

Solutions like "use a hoe" or "sprint up it" do not work account for scenarios such as certain combat scenarios or, particularly, many constructions scenarios. Maybe that's just me.
In any case, this is a simple and logical fix that I believe would objectively make the game better.
