What was the seed with rough coordinates I could use a new build world with a maypole actually.

While it can be crafted during the appropriate season, certain map seeds will also spawn them regardless of the season. You can use the seed map generator website and tick to look for maps with maypoles and see that. I've a seed or two that had poles in the winter time accordingly.

I use names for seeds. Recently I decided to use "DontKnow". Shortly after arriving and exploring the meadows what do I find? 2 Maypoles within meters of each other. Thinking it a bug I go to the map generator and sure enough it shows them. Check it out for yourself. In every other map I created I only found one other Maypole. BTW seed "Sailalot" has a massive starter island with all 5 biomes on it.

My first character took over a village near the black forest by newbie zone. After I completed my run I looked up the map and there was a maypole shown in my village. I never saw it. So I created a new world with the same seed and sure enough, there was a maypole there. But in my version there was a house that ended up being transformed into my main building. I guess there must have been and update after I initially created that world which added maypole. Bummer, would have been nice to have.

i got one right on the beach so i built a lighthouse around it and then put a bed above it to reap the comfort benefit, so now i live in the lighthouse (and eats me lobster)

That said though the midsummer event isn't far off anyway so we can build them again for a while.

I've never found a Maypole in the wild myself not even after using the word generator Ap and going to where it says they should appear? Dunno if unlucky or un observant...

Either way glad the event may be coming up again soon (assuming they definitely do a repeat of it). I wonder if that's hard coded in the game or they have to patch it in every time? be nice if the game really did get seasons as they have most of the other physics down very well.

I did that last year. Went to all the worlds I had done at that time and put them in all of them.
Restarting and doing no death runs kind of makes seasonal things limited to that season on worlds you are working on then.

I was going to ask in the forums if they are still able to be found in the game. I have never seen one and assumed they could only be found during the Maypole seasonal event. So they can still be found year round, but can only be constructed during the event, correct?
