right click on the food

In your inventory, the top slots are numbered, that's where anything you want to use goes. Press the corresponding keys to use them. Goes for food or equipping tools/ weapons. For armor, you right click it when its in your inventory, as there's not "gear" slots for your character

Are these kinds of threads actually for real? There's no way you can possibly be a fully functioning adult and not be able to figure out the basics of this game without being explicitly told

There should be a tutorial for the game basics, I've played loads of EA games and most start with a decent tutorial and the 'settings' tab is bigger!

Just try seeing how meat works and see if you don't refund again. Enjoy eating coal.

Been playing survival games for years, most are hotbar feeding systems. Most of the mechanics work better than most full release games is what I've noticed.

You can put your food on hotkeys and use them to eat too, lol. Just listen to this: he almost refunded the game because he couldn't fing the "eat" key, lmfao

Oh, im sorry, Just saw that you mentioned EA games. My bad, people like you do really need a big "PRESS RMB TO EAT" button appear every time you loot an edible.

When I put the food in the numbered slot and then click the number it says "Use x meat on what?" So for all of you who were being a$$es to the original post, eating doesn't seem to be as simple as you say. Still trying to figure how how it works. Should have been in the tutorials.

And I died because eating isn't working and I had no health regeneration. And I died again right after respawning because the boar that killed me is standing on the respawn point. Over and over. Kinda dumb game so far folks.
