I find the bow very, very accurate at long range with only 20 proficiency in it, though!
Not to say that wind and rain should degrade performances.
Currently, the only difference with a rifle is that you have to aim higher.
At worst, you hit a deer at 3rd try at 100+ meters.

Kinda mixed view on your post. Everything assumes you're actually against it, but the last sentence kinda pulls it the other way.

Can't really say the game is even that challenging. Of all things, I'd say it is kinda casual.
If you're eating good food, and is not lazy about getting some decent gear - even deathsquitos aren't really a "one hit threat" everyone are so eager to cry about, and the only way to die is to forget to eat, to wear armor, or get yourself overrun by many enemies, any of which are kinda trivial to avoid.

And btw you're banned.

Don't forget doing things around the base and hearing a loud thunk every few seconds..running down a pier to investigate and see Greydwarves swimming around your Longboat beating on it. Jump from said pier onto the Longboat (Or so you thought) and as you do, they destroy it and you hit the water with no stamina (From the run down the pier) and drowning. Happened a couple days ago. /facepalm

Personally I find the game in a perfect spot for difficulty. The bow isn't really overpowered if you use it normally. With death skill loss most people will probably have a bow skill of 50 or less when facing Yag... after that most people will stop playing and wait for new content.

Only the hardcore lovers of this game will keep playing at that point. And game balance should not be designed around the few that won't stop playing or need to min / max skills by shooting rocks or using a lesser weapon for more hits.

It's not really a difficult game. And I'm really not a tough survival player.

The boss barrier for tech evolution is annoying. But that's all.

Most of the boss barriers can be bypassed too. I think dragon tears are the only strictly mandatory one. (Well, that and the iron supply is *really slow* without a key.)

Wind and rain do not affect the bow performance , that was a mith already busted

frankly this game is too easy. beat bonemass solo, without any special powers garbage. i like QoL updates, you are trying to turn a singleplayer adventure into some kinda pvp garbage. go play a different game. valheim isnt for you.

QoL is about making a game more enjoyable, not less difficult. It's "quality of life," not "ease of life." It's practically not possible to make the game easier anyway. Virtually all the

" challenge "

is just the magnitude of punishments and tedium in the game. You can practically sleep through any actual skill checks in the game.

Ah.. I guess my unnativeness hit me this morning. Yes. Rereading made it clearer that he is adoring it. Though I'd still say the "brutality on the unwilling" still sounds like a second-wave irony(?), and some form of hidden criticism, like some passive-aggressive people like to do.

Problem is that if you do play smart and with patience, the game is way too easy.
I do love that some people have a hard time, but I still want a challenge somewhere.
Call me selfish if you will, but the game needs to be more difficult in several different ways.

I don't blame you, that mess of English posted by the OP is easily misread. It is amazing how the internet with all the information in the world has made people dumber. I imagine in a hundred years we wouldn't even be able to recognize what kids are writing on the internet.

You should see it at higher levels, it's nearly a semi-auto.
