Building with stone (newbie)
So I havent played since first month, do you still need a stonecutter every other tile to build stone?
Also Whats ur tips regarding building with it? Tiresome to have a Bench so often

Um... you definitely DON'T need a stone cutter "every other tile" just to build with stone.
Yes, the range of the stone cutter may not seem adequate to some... But so's the range of the workbench.
Both could use an increase to their range. But it's far from unusable.

Crafting radius can be very annoying for those who like building big structures but it's also fairly easy to move your stone cutter or forge. And workbenches are very cheap.

I like to permanently install stonecutters and workbenches in my bases such that it has 100% coverage. You can hide them away pretty easily - on the roof, under the floor, in the wall, etc. Makes it easy to fiddle with your base and ensures you won't have any mob spawns as a nice side bonus.
