Yeah, fences and push is the only way. Make the space between the side fences wide enough to fit 2 pigs side by side or you will be in pig push hell…they get stuck a lot if too narrow. Trust me on this. 🙂

Works better if you throw food along the path (when the boar says "Tame, Hungry"). That way it'll walk some and you only need to push some.

If none of that works, there's always the harpoon option...

I believe that's only for tamed animals. Wild ones are still afraid of fire.

I very recently tried corraling a boar into a pen that was, apparently, too close to my campfire in my base. This thing went from nipping at my heels relentlessly, to "I must leave this planet, my people need me".

In short, boar no likey the fire.
