They are illegal. The legal ones are the exception that proves the rule: felis catus, having been domesticated over ten thousand years or so.

Take this stuff away and you finish the game after 10 hours.
They want you to go out in the world and do stuff. Its no accident that many recipes need a farm and gathering = maximum time investment

I was not really thinking about taming the deer because I want an easy way, deer are everywhere and really not hard to catch.

At least in my world, Boars are very rare while I'm overloaded with deer hides and meat.

I just thought that taming deer is cool that's all lol

except minecraft encourages you go out and do stuff explore the world but also lets you keep cows, sheep pigs.

Minecraft didn't end up being sold for 2 billion because it was doing it wrong!

Sometimes they do. People pick up fawns thinking they are abandoned. Then tame them and usually get released and then they stand no chance vs hunters. They get too big to have around. Can't be indoors. The fawns are not abandoned and people should not disturb them. The doe is a ways off cause they are afraid of humans of course. Only defense of fawn is to lie perfectly still - hidden in tall grass. Once I almost stepped on one while walking in thick woods. Never saw it until I was about to put my foot down. So I stopped of course. Then the fawn ran away - it was pretty wobbly still. I left so as to not stress it or its mother.

But there are deer farms around the world, at least I know in New Zealand they have some
