I found a Liquid Lake Frost Cave /w TETRA Fish
Yep, it happened! After days of searching and eventually flying from one Frost Cave to the next, I finally found a Frost Cave with an unfrozen lake (after finding a frozen one and 73 without either of them). Seems like they are EXTREMELY rare but found it a great adventure and am happy to finally be able to share my story about it! It is safe to say Tetra are the rarest creatures in Valheim as the caves are so rare, many people will probably never find them.
I'm curious if you guys already managed to find a Frozen/Unfrozen lake cave!

Damn I remember finding an unfrozen lake on my seed the first time I went in to a cave. Found it quite cool but had no use for it back then. Guess im gonna be going cave diving the old caves untill i find it again!

I found Tetra fish also but NOT in the lake. I found two "puddles" in different caves, one was empty and the other had nine tetra jumping all around. I didn't catch a single fish with the pole, they all just jumped out of the water and got picked up. The puddle was a small alcove about 5'x5' square and about knee deep.

Yup, that's the new "feature" in the public test I guess. I guess this is the Dev's answer to liquid lake scarcity.

Awesome! Can fish be mounted as trophies? If not, it seems like a real missed opportunity for IG given how much time they put into fishing.
They can, high rank/quality fish can be amazingly big when mounted.

On our dedicated server we found a frozen lake yesterday evening with two golems. Saw the lore stone but didn't realize we could read it. There was also a small fire there. The cave otherwise was unremarkable. Rngesus smiled on us momentarily.

Nice video, I should have done the same when I made my guide as my group was hellbent in finding a Tetra for our guide and we went through some 319 total caves on 4 maps before we found one lol.
In short, we found 1 liquid lake and 26 frozen lakes in 319 frozen caves. I'd say these lakes are more rare than maypoles by a long shot since these lakes do not exist on every map.
