Did you have mods installed? If so, when you uninstall the game, you must manually delete the game folder to delete the mods.

it was my mods i deleted them all and reinstalled its working now thanks everyone

Having the same issue. Looked up many "fixes" online to no avail. Game seems to crash before it can even launch and nothing has helped/worked.

Being made in Unity can have the possibility of one or some DLLs being missing. Someone playing other game also made in unity only managed to play the game after reformating windows. (it's a pretty common occurence in this engine)

While I don't suggest turning off whatever virus scanner/security software you have. It might be beneficial to bring it up and see if it's stopped any "unknown" applications or just strait up Valheim from running.

Every once in a while a game will either get yeeted or run virtually until I update it's permissions.

Mind you most things work as expected, but erry once in a while~

I had this problem, it turned out after a game update a mod broke it. If your running mods, try to remove them all, and see if that works. Then added them back 1 at a time until it breaks, and there is your problem. I don't know if your running mods or not, but it was my experience.

If it's not mods check your anti-virus and firewall exceptions. Try playing with Steam and/or Valheim in admin mode. Verify game files. Try playing with cloud saves turned off. Some simple things to try. Also try searching forums, and the bug forums, because I've seen more than a few of these posts in the last few days. One of the other threads may have a solution.
