Steam "Open world" sale...

Games like Rust, Cyberpunk, Forest, etc... but I don't see Valheim.

You suppose that was Iron Gates choice?

Why should they put a successfull EA Game that hasnt been released yet on sale? Especially since it will probably even be more expensive later on?

None of the other games you posted are in EA.

Do they really need to include Valheim in a sale? Personally I don't think so. It's already well worth it at $20.

I'd guess they feel that Valheim is already in a good place pricing-wise, which I'd be inclined to agree with.

If this type of game is something you like, the current price gets you a nice chunk of gaming with more on the way.

I was under the impression it got overlooked or "shunned" by Steam, that is why I asked... but Munin cleared that up.

Knowing how much fun I've had, and am having I'd of paid $100 for this game.

It's the respective Publisher's choice to opt-in a sale or not. Usually the Publisher decides it, sometimes the Developers. That depends on how the contracts are.

Steam nor Valve has anything to do with that.
