No, since that's not how Valheim or mods work. It's not a glitch and they know full well what they're doing.

I wouldn't associate with that "friend" at all. If they're pulling stuff like that on your server, then they're likely doing similar kinds of behavior to people out of game as well - not worth having in your life, period.

If you are admin of the server, install Valheim plus and set it to enforce vanilla settings.

Assuming that is what he is using, he’ll “suddenly” start being unglitched and getting normal loot drops

This is one of the reasons I don't play multiplayer games anymore. Or play with anyone other than family.

Sad. Use to be fun, but there are SO MANY dbags these days it's overwhelming and kills your desire to play them.

Can't even escape reality in a game to relax due to hackers, trolls, or 5 million people naming characters Big@$#%, 4000 variations of Legolas spellings, or various other stupid immature names.

Talk to the admins and have him banned if you're that concerned about it. They can just spew some BS and say they checked logs or something if you're worried about pissing off your friend (I'd imagine not if you're posting about it on a public forum)

Yeah, it seems that for every creature he killed, he would get a full stack of whatever resource they dropped. Same goes for cutting trees and mining rocks. Took me 30 minutes to go through my loot boxes and sort out all the ill gotten gains...

Yeah, that’s definitely not normal. I’d personally want something that makes copper mining feel a little less terrible, but whatever he is doing is overkill. 10k gold is literally worthless as the total amount of money needed to buy everything you need from the merchant is only like 1000-1.5k. It isn’t that much and once you’ve gotten that, gold is nearly worthless.
