Cooking QOL Improvement
Something that frustrates me when cooking in Valheim is that you need to continously click the cook button to make the desired quantity of a given food.
For example, if I want 10 lox pies, I need to click the cook button 10 times...which for me is incredibly annoying.
I would love a QOL improvement that allows you to specify the quantity that you would like to cook for the selected food, click the cook button once, and then wait a given amount of time for it to complete.
Is there anyone else out there wanting this change?

+1 to this, it seems so random that some items are crafted by 1 (like weapons), and other items can be crafted by 3 (I think the salad?), 10 or whatever (like bronze and iron nails).
A bar to write the number you want should work here. Also, a search bar that displays what you type would be cool instead of scrolling for a long time.

The need to cheat to get a QOL shows bad design practice imho

reducing the crafting time of items with each cauldron upgrade/workbench upgrade would help to mitigate this

Hate console or cheat modes, but use it in Valheim for 2 very limited issues, one of them being this cooking QoL.
If I want 50 whatever food made, I throw in obliterator the total amount of ingredients to make it, then console spawn FoodItem 50.
Clicking craft 50x to make 50 of the single portion recipe items is fine if you find that fun. You do you. I will easily do console, as a console command hater, and rationalize it entirely and sleep easy.
The second issue if curious is arrows. Same logic. Even with 20 per click, it is nothing but mindless grind chore to craft them, so toss exact ingredients into obliterator, spawn 600 arrows. If there were mod that did this, I'd use it. Until then, I'm fine using 'cheat' to gain the exact same items I'd have by using up exact amount of ingredients I toss in obliterator but with 50 less clicks.

each recipe in the game has an unlisted ingredient -- player time/attention. this seems a little overboard, given how much time/attention is consumed just acquiring the listed ingredients...
Mozzy's solution should be very disheartening for a gamemaker to hear... he's "cheating fairly" because the current system is rather abusive of his time...
