I can't change inventory order so there appears to be more problems.

Because the mods are not officially supported by the Vaheim developers, the mods are usually going to "break" (stop working) every time there is an update to the game, and requires that the mod authors update their mods to match the current version of the game... new version of the game usually requires new (updated) version of most mods.

Mods can be used because the developers allowed it, but the devs are not responsible for updating or maintaining any player-made content.

This means that if a player chooses to use mods, it comes with a strong possibility of periods of time where mods won't work, after a game update, or worse, the possibility of your favorite mod becoming un-usable permanently if the mod author fails to update for some reason or abandons maintaining the mod.

IF YOUR MOD IS NOT WORKING Please visit the developers page to find out if they are reachable to inform them. Most often they put in their own time and effort to keep their individual mod updated. Folks can only fix what they know about and have time for.

Thanks to the devs.

It's not always cheats. Some mods are just basic QoL changes. Most of what I use is just to reduce button/key wear and tear so I don't have to mash them more than necessary. Like planting and "popping" crops en masse, but still requiring the proper stamina and durability on the tool in order to do so. Or auto-repairing gear when accessing a workbench/forge so I don't have to mash the button. Or queuing up multiple craftings at the workbench or kettle for, again, less button mashing and even saving a few seconds from it being done at the most optimal speed, one after the other. Or auto-equipping a shield when switching back to a one handed weapon.

A mod isn't a cheat you clown. That's like saying coupons are a form of stealing.

Doesn't matter if it's "cheating" or not in a single player game meant for entertainment. They don't owe anyone an explanation.

If you go to betas in the side menu you can select the previous version and get back in business until the mods catch up.

As usual with mods you:

A. Wait for updates to fix them.

Or...

B. You only update the game when you know the mods are working for the new version of the game but... Steam is too asinine to allow us to turn of automatic updates.

I know that many mods including APIs already got fixes today.

1- Thankful for updates.
I had JUST installed the patches yesterday. Wasn't sure if i had broken something.
2- We are NOT cheating.
I installed the patch because my wife has some mobility issues in her hand and the less work we need to do in some repetitive things the better. The MAIN REASON we bothered to mod the game was to get the chests in the nearby area to auto feed the supplies to the workbench.
So, just maybe ask why instead of popping off.
