Same thing happened here. Lost all buildings and stored equipment. Tried the suggest loads from backup and nothing. If anyone stumbles across a fix Id really appreciate the help....or you, the developers could try to fix it....just sayin

Same thing happened here. It's happened to a lot of players, actually.

Where you playing on a custom map or a bettercontinents map?

Did you try to recover a save from your windows users files? They have the .old at the end.

I still have every save and character that I made since I bought the game shortly after release and so far never lost my stuff.

Bummer, but this is EA and we should all be prepared to lose it all in a moments notice... if it happens yeah it sucks, but it IS part of EA and bug reporting of games in EA.

happened to me, devcommands can quickly get you back to where you was, do not despair, for despair is only for those who see the end beyond all doubt. We do not. It is wisdom to recognize necessity, when all other courses have been weighed, though as folly it may appear to those who cling to false hope.

Losing everything is part of early access imo, try not to let it get you down. I'm prepared for the day I lose everything and welcome it. Starting all over again gives you the opportunity to make even more awesome things. Glass is half full y'know

Cloud bug? Since when are clouds in the game are bugged to delete your stuff?
Just in case you speak about the Steam Cloud here, then thats a Steam issue and not something from the game. You probably should speak with the Steam Support then.
