Melee aim

I'm going to write another review of the game soon, but I wanted to bring this up here as well. When playing in previous biomes, it has been noticed that the player can only hit one height with melee weapons. In the Mistlands, this has become almost a nightmare. This is a purely game mechanics flaw that should be fixed immediately.

Hey there... I like the current mechanic , it force you to look and use terrain to be able to strike... but this idea of yours.. I think is good..I would vote for it... yes, yes... :)

It's like playing Terraria with only shortswords. There definitely needs to be some more vertical range to players' attacks. Nothing like being unable to hit a wolf who happily murders you by biting your toes.

Would definitely like the ability to swing upwards or downwards. Getting my ankles nibbled on by necks that are 6 inches down a slope and therefore completely immune to all attacks is silly.

Would say it's about preference. Option for this might be correct solution.
Personally would hate if had to swing my viewpoint wildly when fighting on uneven terrain. Rather accept current mechanism and adapt to it. You can nicely outplay the AI on slopes with the hitboxes

No need to ask permission to do review

I've tried the camera aim mode and it was a nightmare before mistlands, I can't imagine how bad those camera swings are now - with vanilla wisp clearing likely the angle adjustment alone would blind you. Something needs to be done though, adjusting the hitboxes? Auto hit angle adjustment (auto aim) on slopes? In either case how then to handle multiple enemies - not being able to choose an intended target could get dangerous.

I guess the vanilla answer is weapon choice. AoE vs swinging vs thrusting vs missile. Brood nests in infected mines made this more obvious IMO, with AoE the only way to hit them prior to hatching.

I'm not askin permissions... That was just something that was on my mind at the moment when I started writing and I'm doing the review what so ever.

Aiming the target is just basic for almost all type of gaming so giving a change to hit one step higher or lover is not going to kill the game. Fighting seekers in the steep slopes when they can like two shot kill you and you can not even hit them is frustrating. Swinging weapons have very wide horizontal hit-area usually so only thing I ask is vertical flexibility.
