How do you move a lox?

I think I tamed two lox, one in a pit, which went pretty well, and one in a stone-walled pen next to the pit that I made, which was a bit of a CF until the lox calmed down... and after he killed the three trolls that came around in the middle of the excitement.

The pen and pit are connected,, but the one in the pit seems to have no interest in going into the pen. With boars I could nudge them along, but I don't think that's going to work with lox. Cloudberry lures don't seem to be working either.

Any suggestions?

have You tried using the terrain raise option of the hoe to bring the bottom of the pit up to be level with the pen?

I did not. I moved into my other world where I could build a saddle, but I will try that.

Where's the reverse on this thing!

I switched to my main world, tamed one, put a saddle on him, and rode him straight into a wall!

He did save my life already. I forgot to eat before going out, so had min health and got stung by a deathsquito. Ran past the lox with my last few health points and he (somehow) killed the deathsquito!

I guess I have to wait for another one to spawn by my base. I don't want to sit in the middle of the plains waiting for one to be tamed.

I don't believe there is a reverse. If you discover one though. be sure to share.

Well... I left my lox out in the open, and he got caught up in a fulling raid, so he's no longer with us. :-(

Playing with keyboard and mouse? Or a controller?

Depends on if you have made a saddle for it yet too. Which you make at the workbench using dark iron metal, linen thread, and linen scraps.

Ahh. I only am at mountain biome in this world, so I'll either have to wait or go craft it in my main world. Thanks!

Np. Saddle can be put on and even taken off at your leisure.
