I wish there was a graphics option to turn your cape and helmet displays off, I've never seen the backside of anything other than Leather armor because of them

Friend of mine has a solution for this : Unequip. I tell him he's crazy, he doesnt care, it all works out in the end.

I like having my +4 armor and frost resist, and most of the capes look cool, it would just be nice to have a graphics option to turn them off sometimes. Lots of games have an option for toggleable capes and other armor pieces now that I think about it actually

In my opinion the cape should represent a completion of a set bonus.

Also, the fact the lox cape AND the wolf cape BOTH provide cold protection kind of sucks.

I would like to see the lox hide provide poison resistance instead.

I would like to see the leather cape give a small stamina boost so that the leather cape isn't completely irrelevant.

I mean why bother with 1 bonus provided if it doesn't give some kind of stat buff, even if its a small one?

I wouldn't be surprised if they gave all the armor some balancing love before they are finished.

You do. And that is a good thing. You certainly don't get the troll cape cause it looks good, or offrs a whole +1 armor. You get it for the sneak bonus.

I think the leather cape should offer some kind of bonus as well, and as I mentioned in the previous comment I think its less than ideal that the wolf hide cape and the lox hide cape share the same bonus.

Personally I like having the visual choice of a lox cape over a wolf cape.
And second, there is the troll hide cape that offers a bonus as part of set.

Not every cape needs to offer a special bonus.

But you can be sure that there will be new equipment added soon.

Depends on the cape.

ok, but the deer hide cape is just armor then? I guess I imagined it might keep you dry in the rain or some such thing

Wolf and Lox capes give you immunity to frost.
