It is however possible to die on the wrong side of a spawner with starred elite draugr camping the only route. That was an interesting corpse run.

I take my mace out and destroy the green lamps at the entrance to mark an already explored crypt. That way I already know visually without any extra map markers

You can use shorter Descriptions, like "Cc", "Co"
What means Crypta closed, Crypta opened
Just as tip to spare lifetime

Since they respawn "Cl" is maybe not necessary

But sometimes they get destroyed when fighting whatever may be "guarding" the crypt.

I use the red cross method as well, also with burial chambers and troll caves. It's the easiest way when it comes to using the map.

You dont need a key to enter a Krypt. Only some finewood

I heard one player say they explore the entire swamp area they find, mapping and unlocking all crypts, then leave the key at home.

They made it harder with H&H, since i stopped playing short after i cant 100% say if its still possioble

once you unlock a crypt you dont need a key anymore to enter it.

Once a crypt is unlocked it stays unlocked.

Key will be on your corpse for you to collect.
