Need to have a "Fix" for the Horizontal, 26 and 45 Degree Core Wood Beams(
Having trouble getting the Core Wood to stick Horizontally, to the Iron Beams. Also,
there is trouble with getting them "Seat" properly. They are either above or below where the normal Wood or Wood Beams sit. You wind up having to cover them anyway, or the Roof Tile edges show.

I have always thought of core wood as a support system, onto which wood is placed. Can you provide a few more pics of the specific issue that vexes you please so perhaps some super builders can offer some tips.

Same here, they are used as support, to build a frame, or to build a log cabin. I usually don't use them in the same manner as the regular wood poles, although it might be neat to have that functionality, but then snapping would be even more of a nightmare for some players.

Corewood has different snapping, which is useful. You can stack corewood horizontally, such as for log cabins. This also gives you a 0.5m snap height to align other things to.
Unfortunately, this doesn't suit your purposes here.
The devs could do a lot to make things even more flexible -- such as arbitrary angles and more snap points -- but I think they have a nice balance here of minimalist features and pieces which offer a lot of creative flexibility. If they made corewood just like other beams, that would remove some of it's special value and just be another "skin". If they added more snaps, it could make corewood troublesome to use.
It might be cool to have a general option, during placement, for a local snap-coordinate space -- an alt mode like Shift which centers a snap-grid on your current selection, with 0.25m snap increments in the local +/- x/y/z. This would remove the need to abuse WoodDoors for these offsets, and allow stacking all wood types (though not seamless because they aren't as thick as core), or offsetting the corewood default to line up end-to-end with other wood. This would also avoid polluting the number of snap-points in a build, as they're only "virtual" -- placement offsets.
I'm sure there are other ideas which could be even better. So long as the wonderful balance of simplicity and flexibility isn't upset!

The first problem I had was the Roof tiles on Core Wood, vs how they look when you use the Wood. They drop down lower than normal. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199152743523/screenshots/
So at the top, I had to cover them with a 2m Wood Beam, or the Roof Tile Edge would show.

LOL Okay, I'm obviously not getting how to post screenshots, when you are already in the body of a post. I guess I gave you all ALL the screenshots I've ever taken in my Library. ((I'm disabled and on pretty nasty medication, thinking is really tedious)). I'll try this again, or maybe look at the top pictures to see tile lower than the rest of the...mounted to the Core Wood 45 Degree.
