Is anyone else struggling to find crypts?
I am so confused my friend and I have been struggling to come across a single crypt since before the mistlands update. we have tried making many different worlds and searched through many different swamps and we have failed to find a single crypt. we were able to find them before some update idk when they stopped showing up...

.... at some point in the last year they nerfed the number/chance of/for crypts.

I have noticed that now when I cruise by a swamp in my boat, the green torches don't appear. You can see the short rectangular buildings though. So if you're looking for the torches, they might not be rendering at that distance.

Yea I have a pretty beefy PC and I've noticed less and less crypts that I can see from the ship..

Crypt density has been reduced recently yes. It does make it even more likely to find huge swamps with barely more than 1 or 2 crypts.
That being said, there is still plenty of them and iron can be found easily in mistlands as well.

Use your boat, and have draw distance at max. Sail the shores of swamps(be careful) You should be able to spot crypts in the distance.

There is a map tool you can use.. google Valheim Map and you can put in the world seed and it will show them.
I have not had too much issues finding them and I'm on my second play-through since Mistlands.

You'll just need to look for a large enough swamp. Structures like dungeons generally won't generate in too narrow or small regions of biomes.
