Please dear god, give patchie
Patchie, patchie, where's my patchie?
There is literally nothing to play on steam right now. Lost Ark, New World, Dying Light, all over hyped games. Been going back to some old stuff and Diablo 2 cuz there is literally not much worth getting in to.
Just waiting on this update forever for Valheim and Total Warhammer 3 coming out.
We're in the dark ages of gaming now boys.

Waiting also for new content...
Dark ages?... at first glance? maaaayyybe... maybe but if you look deep we are not in Dark Ages. The actuall problem is that the good projects got waaaaaaaayyyyy harder to find.
There are games out there (some of them not even on steam) which are good.
The problem with the most 3 AAA crap (like always there are of course exceptions) is that they are not making games by gamers for gamers. They are making "stuff" (yes i dont call them games) to make fat profit.
That means almost that the "stuff" gets made so it fits most peoples current average desires/expectations.
So you get these copy&paste dumped down monkey ass 1000x seen crap games with ultra gfx.
But from time to time there is something in the making that is done by gamers for gamers or at least by people with passion. The mordern social-media/ internet advertising times just make it harder to find. Because the games stay very long under the rader because of the "noise" all the other big thing make.
@TyresTyco
Sure its good or bad for someone but still its easy to fall into excitement for a game when features that are good for a person are communicated but in the end not(fully) implemented. Than you can call it overhyped for sure. Because you dont get what you expected to be "good" for you.

Get a new game. I agree though it’s been way too long for this minor update that’s still not out. Not sure what their excuse is
They don’t need an excuse. They don’t have to answer to no one. Be patient or don’t play EA. Pretty simple.

Have you tried playing Kenshi?
It's an amazing game, sort of like this one, where most everything in the world is trying to kill or enslave you. You have base building and crafting, weaponsmithing and armorsmithing, trading and exploring.
Agree. Great game, BUT, it has a completely different learning curve, as in: nothing is explained at all, so people should be aware of that.
Also I should wait it out a bit and see what they are going to do with Kenshi 2
Man I get flashback from this message haha.
"Log in...what is this?
No idea what or where...see some movement: dead!"
But yeah, you're right to advice that game.
Should be awesome if there would be some multiplayer or co-op involved in the future.

Overhyped? Wth is that word even? A game is either good for you.. or bad for you. Calling NW , LA or DL 2 overhyped just shows how little knowledge there is.
People waited for these games. People yearned for a new mmorpg to put time and money into. Same goes for a good zombie game.
Dark ages... lol. Only because some AAA yacht owner douchebags totally missed the mark.

And I remember playing pinball in arcades before video games were invented.
Dark ages ha ha. Wow you folks expect a lot. May as well go crack that whip on the devs since you are bored of all your other new toys.
I suggest you start a new world with a new character.
Try for a no death run, no console, no mods.
You know there really are so few actually good games. I think some people need to enjoy the good ones, be willing to go back and play them again. Good games have always been rare.
The grass isn't always greener. Enjoy what you have.

LOL, I just checked what 25cents in 1975 is worth today - 422% adjustment. So the $5 I spent on a Saturday night at the bowling alley playing pinball for 3-4 hours is about what I paid for Valheim that comes with unlimited hours.

Yes, yes we are.
Let me explain here, IMO we totally are. We gamers have been screwed over by many video game companies that release game on platforms like this one, Origin, Epic's, etc.
Large game companies hype games up, and under deliver, or deliver broken games ((See BF2042)) and expect to keep the money and patch it up down the line.
There was a time when all games came out not needing to be patched on release day, and we the gamers have become complacent about it.
Notice I am talking ONLY about large game companies and not small ones like the Valheim devs. I mean, I get it, I want the patch to drop as much as anyone else, but I also realize that the tiny dev team is doing things on their pace, as frustrating as it is. I have had discussions with friends about Valheim and it is usually... "I would have hired...," and after many discussions I am unsure. This was someones hobby fun project that 1 person continued with to now, which is pretty much unheard of as of late. It's a true game changer in a time of screwed up games like Battlefield, Cyberpunk which has been recognized by the dev community at the Game Developers Conference. I'm pretty sure a few CEO's are taking notice of that.
So yes, while the world in general eats digital content like termites in rotten wood, we are in the current dark ages, and I am awaiting the Renaissance.
