I'd like to see more Darkwood pieces too. Specifically, floors and stairs/ladders. Be nice to make outdoor walkways and raised observation areas that don't degrade in rain.

Didn't like it when they went discoloured and the ocd meant I couldn't leave stuff unrepaired.

i think it's the same as core \normal wood in every regard except color.

Can you make a floor out of all beams? I don't have darkwood yet. Just got core wood. Was hoping there might be 1 forest that I didn't have to cut down every single tree for.

You can make walls out of core wood to do a log cabin, but you will still need a roof to shelter crafting stations, yourself, and the core wood

Walls and floor tiles under roofs are already immune to weather damage.
