So if your very determined and discover and explore all land masses of undeveloped biomes then nothing will get updated? I kinda been running around a lot and uncovering a lot of far north and mistlands, I want to splore dang it.

Going by what they said, I would imagine if its been uncovered on your map it won't change, but that's guessing as they didn't give specifics as to what it would exactly entail.

What about on dedicated servers? if one person has uncovered a vast majority of the map but others haven't, or if say 10 people have uncovered the whole map but different sections each, how would that work?

The game doesn't care about 1 person, the game cares about what has been uncovered, which is, by then, the entire map.

I think you slightly missed my point, if one person has uncovered the entire map but others haven't, will nothing be updated on that server

undiscovered biomes on your existing map will be updated, but any part of the map you uncovered will not be touched. Straight from the devs

What does that mean exactly? Am I to assume if you have uncovered some Mistlands already that it will stay barren?

ehm thats not true , no one of the devs said something like that , this is not 7days2die where u have o start a new seed becasuse alfa v23423423 like that game ._. , heres is already the new biomes , just are under developtment

Actually I believe they've said they'll try to find a way to integrate it into current worlds so players wouldn't have to start a new server/world anytime an update comes out with new stuff on the biomes. Keyword being "try" though, not sure how it'll work out.
