yeah, you need to add a butcher table, pots and pans and spice rack to make different types of food. The Lox meat and serpent meat can only be cooked using a large rack now. I had to re-do my kitchen completely.

if you've found turnips' you should have a recipe for the spice rack
you might have to put a turnip in your inventory to unlock the recipe

fair warning the spice rack is somewhat difficult to place if you've
got a small area

the spice rack will allow you to make sausages again

you need silver and ancient bark for the next upgrade

and blackmetal for the last

Very cool! Looks like a major fire hazard though. Like the fireplace in the middle, like it might get a bit chilly out there in the kitchen. :D

Serpent stew is now basically gated by iron and the swamp.
