Lost progress - multiple PCs - Steam Cloud
So I read the FAQ about multiple users on one PC creating issues with saves, but it also appears if you use multiple PCs to login to the game through steam, it doesn't save your progress properly. I'm guessing the when going back to another PC that has an older save on it, it overwrites the data in the Steam cloud. Might want to disable Steam cloud functionality until this issue is addressed.

Zero traffic on this one, huh?
I'm having the exact same issue between laptop and desktop. Travel with laptop, progress is lost soon as I launch desktop again even though laptop was online and launching steam the entire time.
The second time this happened, I even took the time to copy my world save folder first, but I still can't get it to launch (even with steam in offline mode!).

Same thing happened to me, so I've just uninstalled from one machine and exclusively use the other. No way am I risking the loss of a long sessions of building/mining over this.

You have to copy the game Status from C: \ Users \ * USERNAME * \ AppData \ LocalLow \ IronGate \ Valheim \ the folder "Characters" or complete Valheim Folder to the other PC in the same Directory and overwrite it (make a copy of Characters before) streamcloud doesn't save the game, i think
