it wiped my game again?

I had an issue like a month ago where it deleted all my buildings, after disabling steam cloud on all accounts on my pc I went into devmode, fixed everything, made a save file locking that in and then kept playing, randomly today when logging in all my buildings are gone, but the map is explored, and the save file I kept just brings my back in the exact same spot, what happened?

Any other steam accounts or computers in use? I've seen a couple of people trip over cloud being active on some logins / installs while disabled on the main. I believe map exploration and player location are stored in the character save rather than the world.

I have 2 accounts on this pc, no other pc, and both have cloud disabled...

Did you rename the world save at any point? That removes all buildings and terraforming, but there's a tool that can fix it.

I have heard that having multiple accounts on one user in windows could also effect saves, is this a known bug or a rumor, if so, would creating a local user fix this?

That could help, yeah - the danger with having multiple accounts on the same windows login is that they'll all save into the same appdata folder. Risk of things being over-written there.

true, but I don't even play valheim on my other account, it must just overwrite when being logged in, I use it for CSGO
