Well I definitely got my $20 bucks worth, but they haven't done much since release. Still my favorite game ever and can't see me stopping. Modders have done a lot to keep the game interesting while the devs sleep on their winnings.

For those complaining(as always):

If you eat your dinner before it’s finished being prepared, do you complain that it’s undercooked?

It’s Early Access.

small company could take over a decade to finish the game at their current pace. dont really care when the update comes will be a lot of fun.

It's just one of the problems with early access. Once money changes hands, people expect things to happen instantly, no matter what the fine print says. Sometimes things can coalesce and move quickly and sometimes they bog down and have to find direction. Sometimes you will get burned.
Simply put, you got what you paid for, a game that is still being made.

I just hope they bring it soon I have a rented server (once again this is the second one ive gotten) and am hoping that mistlands comes out soon. Made great friends here but not willing to pay a month to month subscription to not have new content. We are only at Moder now and looking for the final boss, but after he is down and we kill him, i will most likely take the server down if Mistlands update is not done, I refuse to pay a month to month server for the next year hoping that the new update comes and we wait for a year for the new stuff to come out.

Starting to think that, boy was I naive to think that they were going to be pushing out content faster I don't know dev interview fooled me. Maybe that dev doesn't work their no more? He made it sound like they should have already published Valheim 2 by now.. LOL live and learn.

I would guess they would target Mid-Nov/early Dec to generate attention during holiday sales. Would be a missed opportunity if it slipped until next year.

That would just hype up the community more which would in turn make people even more impatient. But i don't see a reason for why they would hold out on releasing the update if it's completed, or saying anything about it, and also since it seems that the devs do like to hype up people with the spoilers and such, i think they would share some info if it was completed. Better to expect the worst than to be disappointed.

2025 to add enemies to the mistlands
2027 to change the graphics of the grass and make bread increase your hp by an additional 2 points

At this point who knows; all I know is if Mistlands is not an amazing patch after all this time things may start going negative.

Could be 2026 too, as long as we're speculating.

They're aiming for a late 2022 release of Mistlands as far as I could tell.

Thanks for the update. I will patiently wait for the new part of the game. I appreciate time and effort to make sure they get it right.
