The chaos of my 2 friends and I landing on the plains the first time and being greeted by flyingdeath.

Same. I was playing with a friend, and we both laughed our heads off at that one.

Me in the beginning of the third playthrough, proudly brandishing a bone shield to a troll thinking it would protect me, when after one hit I made one with the bone shield

I swear there needs to be an achievement for dying to a falling tree. It's practically a rite of passage.

Was struggling to explore a mountain area that was essentially a steep cliff and it was like a wiley E coyote montage of me finding every possible way to fall to my death a mile down.

i love the moment when you believe you can outrun a dsquito. love that belief, dedication amd inevitable end.

My funniest instant where with the belly empty, I think:

- Using stealth on the shore, and accidently fall of a rock into the water
- Falling of four meters while building.
- At the moment you aggro a pile of bones in your first burrial chamber, your torch quenches, and you can only see that many pairs of eyes.

Also, more dumb (and desperate) than funny instants:

- Stealthy approach a troll, shoot an arrow, and find that no only you are back to 25 hp with only base regeneration rate, but your stamina bar is almost empty.
- Not understanding what '*' and '**' really means.
- Panicking under some random pressure, and accidentally hitting the Enter key to close inventory (I probably didn't know when quick slots are really useful).

Construction Accidents at 25hp are the best.

Funnest was Thor obliterating me with a lightning bolt today.

the fun ones for me are when adventuring, first time you see an enemy type --- ooo, little green guys, they don't look too bad...

but the vast majority of my deaths have been preventable stupidity. About 1/3 of them, I kid you not, were caused by construction. Trying to get that piece just so and ooos, my food has worn off and I just fell 4 stories. Trying to get that screenshot of my castle, from a rickety scaffolding on a nearby tree... ooops.... Apparently, my viking is rather clumsy when climbing tall things.

lol i have died so many times while building... in valheim construction work is the most dangerous job.
lol but i have to say the funniest one for me was fighting a troll and its club attack knocked over some trees and one tree killed him and was laughing and only paying partial attention to the domino affect it created and ended up dying from a tree also.
one thing about this game is almost always, i am shocked when i die and absolutely hate it lol.

Had a 2nd story patio on my outpost and used raised ground to put a campfire in it. Thought I had it ventilated appropriately, went afk and came back to a smoke death.

Miscalculated swim distance once, and was clinging to a rock to regenerate stamina, then a wave crashed into me and knocked me just far enough that I ended up drowning.

Early on was running away from a troll across some stone. He smashed the destructible rock near me and I got stuck in the hole it created.

Decided to take the risk and explore the mountains without frost resist potions so I made an outpost and put several campfires nearby to keep myself from freezing. Unfortunately I didn't take into account the damage bonus those frost drakes would still have and got sniped through an open spot in the roof while I was managing inventory in the outpost.

Once a troll atacked and destroyed many trees. His atack missed me, but the trees were falling and crushed me.

I just entered the dark forest for the first time naked and a club only. Got jumped by 5-6 greylings, ran for my life but was chased all the way home and eventually killed.
