I think it would be cool to have implemented in this game npc followers. Not nessisarily animals but more along the lines of npc vikings or npc elves or npc dwarven followers to defend your town durring raids. Npcs that u can assign a task a place to sleep and that u can gear up. Maybee even select for them a mate so u can populate your town. Im not talking like making it an overwelming feautre it could be as simple as they stick around your base until u command them to follow u to battle. If they die they stay dead and u can make them stand guard in various places. Be similar to tamed animals
