I am sad now
Spends maybe 30 ingame days to finally find the second 2 star wolf so I can tame it. Makes it into my tame area blocking it off dying in the process. Runs back get my stuff back and lays down the meat so it can eat and at that moment new day comes 2 star wolf insta despawns infront of me....AHHHHHHHHH!!!

Thanks everyone for the advice my army of 2 star wolves are well on its way and I even got them home without anyone jumping overboard! feels good.

Ah man, I feel ya! I had that happen too...and even worse, I had a 2 star tamed, sailed him all the way to my home base and just before we get there he jumps over and dies to a serpent. I felt so hollow.

not sure i understand. you already have a 2*, and are after a 2nd for breeding? or this is the 2nd time this has happened. if you have a 2* already, you can breed it with a 0* and there's a very good chance the pup will be 2*.
