Horrible lag since last update
It really seems like since the last update implementing the "world save" has really started to make the game lag. It seems like it is getting worse - I believe the lag is on the steam end due to us only using the steam server. Seems like now it is really hard to kill the fulings in the plains due to them being close up then far back etc. Same with the birds seems like they are more stuck up in the air not flying than they were before. Is there anyone else having the same problem? Thanks!

Ya wtf - logged today and it had the worst lag on my coop game I've ever seen and I was live on launch. You are supposed to be fixing ♥♥♥♥, not breaking it over and over.

i had terrible lag after the last update it got steadily worse i reinstalled my vid card driver and it magically fixed game runs dreamily now

People seriously while i can't prove it, but i am pretty sure with Nvidia at least they deliberately drag performance once a new update has been released.
There is ZERO reason a game that ran perfectly before a driver update, starts MAGICALLY running horrible after one has been released but not downloaded.
It never happened before and all of a sudden became something around 4ish years ago.

They need to allow changing send and receive limit via launch property or in game setting, most lag is cos its limited to low bandwith even tho there plenty of avaible bandwith.

After this last update - now when I go and open a chest 1/2 the time the contents box does not even show - so have to reclick back into again.

Since the last update the game runs so slow now that even the menu screen is lagging, it's been unplayable for 2-3 days now, so very frustrating.

I play Enderal my way a modpack for enderal SE. The graphic is stunning and it runs butter smooth. Then i go back to Valheim and get my 21 FPS in a barely builded area. The game as much as i love it for the concept is trash. Multiplayer i stopped after a week it just wasnt playable. The game is flawed in the core and i dont think this will change anytime soon if ever.

I don't know if it is only "lag" but it seems not all players get the right calculations to their clients send making the game unplayable in big parties and explored worlds.
You can run bigboi server hardware and will still encounter problems because of the let's say not very good netcoding. The reallocation of enemies occurs at the moment on every configuration we tried (we tried a lot a lot) and on different server.
Serverload and playerlocation does not seem to make a difference because it also happens on noload and stable 13ms ping with no packetloss to the datacenter. I ve done a 24hours mtr trace scan with very good results so it is not the connection.
Running now 4xepic rome@16gb ram on google compute cloud and it still happens that one or more players can't see the enemies, while some are able to see them. Seems like not all get updated or simply desync.

lag, have you tried to multiplayer? can't even get in to the server and when you do you get kicked hard.

From my understanding server lag/latency/desync has been an issue since February, and may have something to do with the game's maximum upload-to-server rate being capped at 60kb. My friends and I have been experiencing this issue as well, and in some cases it has made the game totally unplayable, as we often run into situations where only one of us can see and interact with objects and creatures in the environment.
Hopefully we get a comment on this from the devs soon!
