Thanks for the reminder. Starting a new world would have been overkill.

My Bonemass location was too far back then close to empty Mistland before patch. Now that Mistland is just empty place with jagged ridge but no mist. Really perfect place for cultivate the new food mats.

You can solve that problem easily.

As already pointed out, you can check other swamps for locations of another Bone(less)mass spawn. Using a vesigvir won't help you, as it would tell you you've already found a boss location.

So you could use the Valheim world generator to load your map seed and figure out where another spawnpoint is.....

Or you can post your world seed here, as well as a screenshot of your current world map.
Other players can upload that link into the valheim world generator and tell you where you would most likely find another spawnpoint for that boss.

Do not listen to this. Not all vegvisir will point to the same summoning altar.

there are usually multiple bosses, just find another stone in one of the crypts to reveal another location. sometimes you need to look in another black forest location for a different stone to show different location

There should be at least three of them on the map somewhere. The stones show you the closest one to that stone. Try in a completely different direction to get a different result.

Just very unlucky. Each boss has multiple altar locations spread across the world. Try going the other direction from world spawn and look for another boss tablet. Every tablet you use will show you the closest boss spawn to that particular tablet.

When I found Bonemass his swamp was small and completely surrounded by plains. I had to figure out a way to live to reach him with low quality food and troll armor.
