Indestructible rock

I am buildng a house and wanted to remove parts of the mountain, but now there is a layer of stone that I cannot destroy. What can I do about it?

Build your house someplace else, you can't destroy it.

That's the terraforming limit, you can only dig a fixed distance from the original surface level.
