All progress has been reset

We've had 200+ days in the game, explored a large part of the map, built an estate, a farm, and more. Today I started my favorite Haldor quest simulator and all the progress disappeared...we started from the first (!) day, even though I already had to be 220 something there, inventory and character as they were, marks on the map as well, and everything else just disappeared...
Maybe someone has encountered this before?
Reinstalling the game and steam didn't help :c

After all the progress of the game disappeared, I felt very sad and sad about it all :(
