I get the same bug in SP. It's temporary, but sometimes that time frame is in minutes, not seconds, and it seems to help if you get out of their aggro range for a bit so it's little brain resets. Alternately you can just relog and it should all be spiffy again for a while.

No wonder I cant kill the monsters for a few seconds these few days .

I just completed a 3 hours play session. I encountered countless invulnerable monsters. If I fight them long enough, eventually they start being able to hit me and me hit them. I don't know if it's a terrain issue or what. Seems to be a lot worse in the swamps, when I draw them out of the swamp into the meadows or black forest, hits seems to resume faster but it might be my imagination. Very frustrating! Has there been a patch in the last day or so? I did not have that issues before.

Sounds like something may have happened to your install or saves. You could try verifying the game files though steam. Reinstalling the game. Plus try a new world and character. Do these things one at a time, in case one does work, might help to know which one did, if any.

Never go at night.. or stay past dusk.

It could be, as long as it's not PEBKAC or PC error.

Can it hit you though? Or cover you in the poison goo? Maybe it has dropped under world partly.

Regarding the blob at the entrance to one of the crypts, is it inside the crypt, outside the crypt, or in the doorway to the crypt? Does it attack you and do its attacks hit you?

I have had instances where I have squared off with an enemy on the other side of a doorway and we wail away at each other only managing to hit the sides of the doorway.

It's inside the crypt. It was behind a wall that I destroyed. I tried for about 10 mins to kill it with my bow. Then I decided to finish removing the wall and went at it with my mace but still could not hit it. I tend did a fighting withdraw to the entrance and exited. Went back in after reloading the game and still have the same issue.

It sounds like the blob is slightly stuck in the wall. If it does not move than I am pretty sure that is the case.
