Shaggy ponies maybe, tho the Norsemen had doubled coated sheep they used both for clothing and ropes, meat and milk, the original hair shirts. Those would make sense in the game and would be great for clothing and other resources,
Frankly life is way less complicated when one does not bother with the taming of animals in this game. They die so stupidly, note above sitting in fire. Then there are the drake and now bat attacks. Total waste of time. Tho the wolf meat might be slightly worth it. Maybe.

The problem is a real one, as I've lost my one and only wolf I had tamed (and was keeping safe in my log cabin), as she jumped directly into the fire the chance she got... :P

I haven't seen such a mod, although I haven't looked recently, but for any animal, and for clumsy vikings, it's good to keep your fireplaces and campfires protected behind railings.

Valheim Plus has a function that prevents tamed animals from taking any damage. Valheim Plus is like 20 mods in 1. It is always updated within 2-5 days of any patch or update as a rule.

There are no horses in this game. Talk to the mod creator if you're using a horse mod, or just put a fence around the horse.
