Anybody Feel Like The Game's Difficulty Has Been Notched Up?
I've started a new character and world with the test patch and am progressing through the game normally (haven't been to mountains yet). In the swamp especially I've noticed spawners are seemingly relentless. There's an Abomination that spawns every time I run the past the same spot. I've killed it 3 times so far. In the 2nd sunken crypt I've entered theres a spawner spawning almost exclusively Drauger Elites. Trying to get into the room to destroy the spawner it spawned 6 drauger elites in a row (2 of them 1 star). Everytime I try to get in I wind up fighting 2 or 3 elites at one time (and getting killed..lol) Also the draugers I've been running into outside the crypts have been giving me a pretty good beating. More so than I am used to (ive played through all 5 bosses at least 5 or 6 times). Also experienced a glitch with storage in the crypt where a chest had no "boxes" or "slots" when I tried to transfer something into it the item just vanished.

Nothing seems any harder. If anything its easier with so many new foods and more rest bonus duration. I just restarted and so far got 60 iron in the smelter, no deaths yet... biggest challenge so far finding swamp crypts...

Stagbreaker is your go-to weapon in the sunken crypts.
Knock the debris pile down to the point where you are close to opening up the passage way into the room, and if you are hearing the flies associated with the spawn piles, break out the Stagbreaker and start slamming the ground. Hopefully you are close enough to the spawn pile to destroy it. This also works on outdoor spawn piles, if they are in one of the stone towers. You can stand outside the back of the tower and destroy the spawn pile without having to charge into the spawned draugers.
This is also the go-to weapon for early game burial chambers. If you are an under-armored newbie and open a wooden door and see a room full of skeletons, quickly close the door and break out the stagbreaker. You can then kill all the mobs from behind the safety of the closed door.

Nothing in this game is hard enough that you should be suggesting cheesing it.

Removing the only challenge whatsoever doesn't sound fun to me. To each their own.

You should post this in the public test feedback sub forum to avoid spoilers for people not wanting to read stuff like that.

There was no debris pile blocking the entrance. It was an open passage. The reason I couldn't get in was because elites were spawning faster than I could kill them and kept coming out through the passage. I was in a completely different passage (a different branch of the crypt in fact) and I started getting attacked from behind by one Elite after another. After the second one I decided to go look for where they were coming from. They were spawning a good distance away from me and without line of sight but actively seeking me out about 5 rooms away. Super aggressive. Stagbreaker is your go-to weapon in the sunken crypts.

Anyway I managed to get in destroy the spawner and turned out there was a vegvisir stone in there. Not uncommon these are guarded by tough enemies but this was over the top. Like I said they were spawning and seeking me out like 4 rooms away in a completely different branch of the crypt. Tell you the truth it was a fun challenge.
