I am a newbie , and I have built a house with a workshop in it, and a bonfire outside the front door. I have flattened the land all around the house. There is one spot on the flattened land where I die if I walk over it. When I respawn and pick up my items from the spot I died in, I do not get my starting outfit back, only food, crafted items, and materials. If I start a new game with new character and new world, but same map seed, I start in the same land as the game I quit, with buildings there, flattened land there, and all food and stones I picked in the previous game, is missing.
Questions:
1. Is dying in certain spots a known issue?
2. Am I supposed to respawn after death and loose my armor? (Have to craft new.)
3. Is a map seed modified with everything you have done in previous games using that same map seed? (Unlike games like Banished.)
4. Is it possible to save the game myself?
5. Is it possible to load an earlier autosave instead of the one the game uses when you just continue in a new session? (Is it the .old save the game uses when you start a new session?)
