Beautiful
I couldn't resist trying it out for myself any longer and yes it really is a little gem. The game looks really nice (especially with the HD texture mod). I only played 3 hours but already defeated the first boss and then felt like a little hero. The fights against normal opponents are a little lame, but they are still kind of fun. Surprisingly, what I like best is sneaking, the consumption of stamina gives it a special note that I really like. As far as the performance is concerned, it could use a bit of improvement, but that will certainly still be. So yes, do it like that and thank you for the nice game.

I agree with the OP, I love the way the game looks and feels. I don't use the texture mod, I like the look the developers intended.
So far the swamp is my favourite biome, with the Black Forest coming in a pretty close second. The swamp has the most atmosphere and it was the first biome that actually felt a bit challenging.
The mountains are the worst for me, I feel like that biome needs some TLC.

That's an impressive time IF you didn't look at YouTube, social media, forums or WIKI's... I personally took it easy, tried all sorts of things, built my bases before killing the first boss... This game appeals to many different types of players.
I actually found it more satisfying when I killed the second boss in the swamps. But if you have a bit of an impatient personality, I can see it might not be so much fun. One suggestion: if things aren't going so well in the swamps, don't be stubborn, just consider different approaches, and nothing wrong with taking your time as well...

Well, I've already used some time for the fight because halfway through I had to work with the javelin throw, that means throwing, running, pick up the spear again and repeating. At the end I was at 1-3% HP but I did it the first time (YES). I'm actually a patient guy, I just wanted to know what a boss fight looks like in Valheim and I thought it was good. I'm curious about the swamps, sounds like it will be Fun :).

Try to not build big bases , the game isnt well optimized for that yet , there will be fine
If u upgrade all gears tier only last biome ( plains ) its a challenge , the rest its a breeze if u know how to take enemies
Best boss is bonemass ( third ) because his hazards fight second and fifth are normals , and fourth just a lame fight because bad IA

This time you're going to want to have a solid base (nothing fancy needed, just a decent secure base), and without going into details, you'll want a cauldron and fermenter. Either way good luck...

Well i did what i always do in games like that in which there is a sea, i'm along the beach After a few hundred meters I found a hut right on the water, unfortunately there were already a few residents, a bees' nest. In other words, I looked like a crumble cake after taking over the hut. But then after that I also thought I would rather distribute small camps over the map instead of large systems.

I think it's good that you want to help, but when it comes to games like this, I prefer to find out everything on my own because that is actually most of the fun in such games for me, no offense ;-).
