Game is being played locally.

Having internet connection allows you to upload you gamesave to the cloud, or if you wish you can make your game world as a server for others to join or you can join game worlds of someone else.

But you don't have to.

it can be played solo or with people i play solo cuz i cant get into any servers

I don't have good internet where I live and this is my go to game.
never get bored there is always something to do
