Old_stable also has Crossplay, so it won't help you anyways (it only gives you the most recent previous version rather than holding to the last known stable version).

When searching SteamDB, the title to looks for is (obviously) "Valheim dedicated server". From Depots, you want "Valheim dedicated server Windows" or "Valheim dedicated server Linux" depending on which OS you run the server on. The Manifest you want to look for is the one from September 30 - This is the last version from before the addition of Crossplay (0.210.6).

i will look into it to see if that fixes our issue.

i presumed our timeout / disconnect / desync issues are related to the crossplay network interface combined with a buildup of stacking errors caused by an older pc of one of the clients, no idea tho. the latest dedicated server is behaving very erraticly in our particular situation. IS there a way to launch the latest dedicated server without crossplay? if i remove the crossplay parameter from the launch options it will start but we cant connect.

Even with the launch option removed, the code still remains.

If I remember correctly, Crossplay is implemented by way of a Unity plugin - the filename for it is libparty.so - and that deleting it will safely remove Crossplay from your server. I'm only 51% sure on that so don't quote me.

Also, make sure that all your players are running clients with the same version as the server. Valheim is very strict on version matching.
