...after a day of work where people turned out to be [BAD WORD HERE!] i can always forget about that when i start a nice round of valheim and just enjoy the stuff vikings do

I love it when...

I set out on foot to mine more copper or tin, arrive at the copper node...only to see I have failed to unload the ore from the previous run.

I love it when...

I progressed towards the point I can venture into a swamp. Preparing thoroughly by cooking good food, making decent armor, some poison resist, etc.

So I am setting onto this amazing voyage by karve. All locked and loaded. The exploration goes all smooth and after a small sail I find a nice spot to land. After defeating some swamp natives I spot my first crypt, JACKPOT! To quickly realize I have forgotten my trollin' swamp key.

Happens too often.

I love it when...

I put so many cooking stations on my campfire I can't add wood to it.

This almost happened to me on my first playthrough. Started on what looked like open ocean, but ended up being a VERY large inland lake that had a river out into the ocean. Got lucky.

Been there, too. So now, I properly explore before building anything significant. I hate it when I have to move all my stuff when my initial chosen location is not ideal.

hehehe.. rookie mistake. Happened to me too. Not exactly an inland sea, but really huge shallow water bay with a minefield of rocks to sink my ship twice before i leave it.
We learn from our mistakes :)
No worries, now that you have a concept, you will build another one faster :)

It's about the journey, not the departure.

Only on the first game I played. Joined a friend who had a base set up "on the water" for future transport only to realize later it was land locked ha ha.

Always scout any area I build in now that I have experience, I don't build anywhere unless I have some bigger plan involved.
