It's a valuable training for learning to identify and let go of stuff you don't need in your life, digital or not. It's fine if you're not into it, but other people can be.

Played a game and hated the guts out of it, games you thought would get updates to make them playable but didn't, free games you hoarded at some point but now are only clutter, games your adult self is ashamed of, ....

You can uninstall it and hide it with option "Show only installed" - why delete it permanently from account ?

It shouldn't be possible to remove a paid game from your library, it's probably just hidden.

If you have bought Valheim and removed it from your library, simply add it back on the Steam Support site (link above).

Technically it is possible to permanently delete a game from your Steam library. Though it involves going through account settings, answering a few "are you sure?" prompts, and it will be as if you never bought the game. The only way to get the ge back after this process is to repurchase it. (Edit: There is no refund in this process, it just removes the game from your account. Refunds are a different process subject to Steam's terms and conditions)

O' course if Steam is saying he still owns it.. yeah he probably just hid it :)

Start to type Valheim in the search box above your game list in the top left of Steam, it will show even hidden games in the results..

Yes, the option says "remove permanently", but this is not the case.

You simply remove the game's entry from your library. The game key still is binded to your account. Repurchasing does not work because you would get the same key. You also can't remove Valheim on Steam, buy it again from a third party keyseller and redeem it on the same Steam Account.

No idea :D Just know Steam has the option to do it hidden in account support settings. Didn't know it's effect on "key" games, do know regular games you have to re-buy.

Only reasons I can think of is an early access game where the company folded and the game never got finished, or the game just flopped and they shut it down before release.

I have a bunch of games hidden for reasons like those. I have zero motivation to entirely delete any of them.
