I wouldn't mind this one. At the start sure, they can actually be a threat, but at the point I am now I just end up with like five of them following me around doing 0.1 damage as i blatantly ignore them because I have wood to chop and dont plan to spend all day getting a single stack purely from those pests. They are too darn good at their job as annoyances dang it! lol

edit: for context, im only just dipping my toes into swamps now in my game so it's not like im super far along either, yet i've already collected a full chest of resin from these guys because they are just that common...and that's with a base that currently has about 30 torches to constantly feed that resin to. Still get more than i can ever actually use, while not even bothering to actually collect it, its one of the first things chucked if i run out of inventory space

hm, the point is, that they don't fear you even you are vastly superior to them...they just keep coming at you and die

I approve of a slider but I would max it. You are shorting yourself ... not on the useless greylings, but the actual GD with wood/rock/etc are 90% of an emergency raft, campfire, or just free building materials not to mention free block/weapon skill.
If you want them to leave you alone for a bit, make a fire. Which, again, you can do after killing a small # of them. Smokey may not approve but leaving excess campfires about is harmless in this world.

I'd prefer a complete set of world config options something like what Ark has.

Let us customize the game the way we want, open up the settings, let us do the balancing, let us turn on what we like and turn off what we don't.

Let us control monster health, damage, armor, spawn rates, everything.
