I've only played solo. Only part that I couldn't overcome was the last boss, but that was because I died so many times I lost a lot of levels.

Max padded, frostner, lox pie , blood pudding , serpent stew, stamina mead, heal mead, then just face tank him hard. Over in less than 2 minutes, don't run.

Cheaters. The game has no anticheats.

I play with others. Either they host the game locally or we join a private server online thru IP address. The owner doesn't trust people to not be stupid and steal or mess up the world. Trying to auto backup the server each night is a task but at this point since its just a few. I personally would like to run a modded ( create multiple towns or single homes in advance etc) server where I allow people to enter. I do wish there was more robust features to handle issues that may occur when rando player enters a server. I personally would like to meet the players who play this same game. I find normally not everyone is an ass so as long as I can handle the bad apples I'd love to see if anyone would be interested in a shared world environment. I personally want help out others (kinda hate the grind part) but not hand out it all ya know? The game is so much better playing in co-op imo. Imagine having a party of four or max 10 on a server at once? I wonder if certain players would have problems with their video with that much action going on. Especially if each has a bunch of wolves in tow.

As has been said, no anticheat, so anyone naive enough to publicly post server password or even invite the wrong people get their server gets trolled and the server made unplayable in short order. So everyone with any sense plays private sessions or with a select few friends they can trust to not cheat.

i play solo and multiplayer. solo experience has gotten so much harder.

I did a solo playthrough and currently doing a duo playthrough.

I have a Solo Character, a Character I play with a few in co/op and my Clan Character which plays with 6-10. tbh my solo is the must fun

I play with my wife and a few friends on a multi-player server I set up. I couldn't really see playing Valheim Single-Player.
