Rudimentary Steel (and Broth)
We need more fun uses for bones. Historically speaking the Scandinavians did collect iron ore from various bogs (makes sense we get it in the swamps) but also they were also unwittingly making rudimentary steel as well. Human and animal bones could be found near forge locations. Though their reason for using bones in smithing was more 'mystical' it did add some carbon to the process resulting in less refined steel. Also, bone broth is yummy, we have root veggies in the game, wouldn't be hard to combine the two.

A god set of 'bone' weapons might be nice; at least bone arrows.
Cooked bone marrow as a food by itself, or added to soups like you mention.
Bone meal for fertilizer too. Maybe adding it to our crops could increase the yield.
You have some good ideas so make sure to post them to the suggestions forum.
