If you encounter a ghost, you visit the Swamp at night.

Which isn't the best time to do that.

What you could try is to wait outside the area until dawn, make sure you got a bow and arrows equipped and as soon as it's light, sail in slowly.
While doing so, keep changing your point of view, so you will "map" the area around you. This will give you a clue if / where any leeches are present.

When you've spotted those, release the rudder, pick up the bow and shoot the leeches.
Yes, you will drop out on loot by doing that, but at least you're able to clear the path. Goes the same with the skellies and draugr; though as they walk over the bottom of the water, it can be harder.

Progress slowly towards your tombstone(s) and beyond that to make sure the entire area is cleared out.
Only then return to your tombstone and retrieve your items, store what isn't needed aboard your ship's hold and sail away.

A second method is to find a dungeon as close as possible to where you died, build a teleporter there or nearby and use that to quickly access and leave the swamp area.
Again, make sure you clear out the area before actually progressing.

Lesson learned: Never land directly in a swamp when you explore it for the first time. I did the same as you and that costed me hours of corpse run time.
Better look for a nearby meadow or black forest area, and then build at least a portal there.

A lot to break down here so I'll try to make it simple for you since it looks like you're new to the whole Swamp Biome.

The Swamp Biome is the Defacto "make-or-break" for players. It's Hard. Even with 2-3 other people it's hard! The game scales difficulty based on skill and armor levels. (had a dev explain that to me). Since you're seeing two star creatures means you're skills are super high and you should be able to go into the swamp no problem.

The wraiths only spawn at night, so there's an easy out for you there. Go during the day. Takes time to travel to that biome you said? Make a base that's gonna be a few minutes sail to your island. That 20 minute trek seems to get you harder then the guys who kill you. I sure as hell understand.

Bring stuff on your boat to make a portal to that base you made to go into the swamp. Abominations are super easy since they're slow. Axes are good to take them down. Need a block skill of at least 20 with a bronze buckler to parry.

Lastly but not at all the least you can do to make this all easier for you. Ask for help instead of crying like a baby at how bad you are at the game. If you cry like this about like, I'm sorry for you. There are hundreds of groups that are willing to take their end-game gear with you to go for a corpse run. They'll defend you, build boats to sail there, and all that. Try asking for help before the next time you go on a temper tantrum.

Fact: Enemies don't get scaled unless you have high armor and skill values, and the number of bosses you've beaten (1-5).

The chance of 3 2 star enemies spawning within 20 mobs is .88% (binomial of 20 choose 3 with p=.0225), given that there were actually 20 mobs (doubtful) and all 20 were mobs that could be 2 stars. That’s incredibly low, and given that I was being generous on the probability calculation this seems like a super exaggeration.

Yeah, it's obviously BS on any ground you stand on. Just a pissed off guy who can't understand how to stratigize Just brute-forcing it through the game like most others. After my 3rd corpse run sailing into the swamp I said ♥♥♥♥-it. I knew there was some prep-work I needed to figure out.

just for the info, there wasnt a good tipp in here i didnt know already. it turned night i tryed doing i at day all the time, i had portal stuff with me but i cant even land, the one time i cleared everything and tryed to build the portel i got overrun by 2stars coming out of the water. it was my first time i endcounterd an abomination, and there wasnt a way to fight it since a ghost and tons of mobs was there aswell, i just wanted to get out.. WELL WIND TURN AGAIN LIKE ALWAYS AT THIS SPOT THE MOMENT I WANT TO ESCAPE. You think i "super exaggeration" well think what you want i tell the truth. im not someone who rages easly about a game and i barly died in this game ever. The REAL BS is the ♥♥♥♥♥ rng as some else pointed the odds out.

PS.: Someone said land in black forest or meadows, WELL THERE IS NONE NEXT TO IT only even worse PLAIN, and thats the reason i tryed to land there because i can choose swap or plain -.-

So in essence you're admitting to making bad decisions that resulted in your death. You made the decision to go to that island knowing there wasn't good conditions be it landfall choices, time of day/night etc.

You chose the wrong swamp. That's bad, yes. But it happens. Try to find one that is closer to a more friendly biome. I had swamps border all kinds of biome. I even had a swamp behind a small plains biome which bordered both a meadows and a black forest on the other side.

You have to look, and yes, swamp is hard for the freshmans that come out of the Black Forest, not knowing what to expect.

What you already know by know is, that you have to bring a portal with you and that it is safer to land on a more friendly biome bordering the swamp.

i dont need the swap i need the plain and even more my stuff, btw i got it back(not all but most) with a small boat, a stone axe and the basic bow. wanna know how? not encountering 0,01 rng. Exept for an abomination stucking under my boad and i couldnt take control of the boat (press "e" and nothing happens). and just for your info, your tipps where useless to beginn with sry but honest

I play this game solo and it was ez all the way till the one death with all my stuff in it and the following corpserun deaths. now it gets back to ez again.
